Country preference for property ownership by region

This graph forms a good foundation that prompts many more questions I’d explore in subsequent projects, like: Are some regions preferred in periods of country investment/divestment? Is international interest in a region correlated with private or public-sector initiatives from home or abroad? Which regions have used public-sector budgets most efficiently to drive overseas property interest?
